Osman Kavala was unlawfully arrested in the Gezi Park trials and held in prison for more than 2000 days. The installation “Grave to the Stolen Days” marks the days when Osman Kavala was held in prison. The kites, which are the symbol of freedom, were used in black and placed to resemble a cemetery. Each day stolen from him is marked on the kites.The video projected on the kites covers the space as a counter counting the days, transforming the space into a prison.
